DRESS CODE
Below you will find Dress Code requirements for each of our classes, including information on where to purchase dance wear and shoes.

IF YOUR CHILD IS TRYING OUT DIFFERENT CLASSES, OR IF THERE IS A QUESTION AS TO WHICH LEVEL CLASS SHE/HE WILL BE IN, DO NOT BUY DANCE SHOES UNTIL THAT HAS BEEN DECIDED.
WHERE TO PURCHASE
Leotards, tights, and shoes may be purchased at any dance supply store or online. LIsted below are stores our students have purchased supplies at.

PRESCHOOL and KINDERDANCE
Girls AGES 3 - 6
Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop
Dress code for ALL CLASSES:
- Black leotard (short sleeve, long sleeve, or tank)
- White tights or bare legs
- If skirts are worn / Black
- Hair tied back from face (bun, ponytail, or braid)
- No jewelry
For TAP:
- White Tap shoes
For BALLET and JAZZ:
- White Ballet shoes
For Hip-Hop:
- White sneakers
LEVELS 1&2
Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-hop
Dress code for girls - ALL CLASSES:
- Black leotard (short sleeve, long sleeve, or tank)
- Ballet Pink convertible tights (black dance shorts over tights are allowed)
- Hair tied back from face (bun, ponytail, or braid)
- No jewelry
For TAP:
- Tan Buckle Tap shoes
For BALLET:
- Pink Ballet shoes
- Skirts: If skirts are worn / Black
For JAZZ:
- Tan Slip-On Jazz shoes
For HIP-HOP:
- Black Split-Sole Dance Sneakers
Note: Warm-up apparel (shirts/sweatshirts) must be solid black and must be removed at the instructor's request.
Teen COMMERCIAL DANCE & HIP-HOP
Teen GIRLS:
- Black tights, dance shorts, or yoga pants
- Black t-shirt, sweatshirt, or leotard
- Black knee-pads (if requested by the instructor)
- Black Split-Sole Dance Sneaker
- Hair tied back from face (bun, ponytail, or braid)
- No jewelry
Teen BOYS:
- Black running pants or sweatpants
- Black t-shirt
- Black knee-pads (if requested by the instructor)
- Black Split-Sole Dance Sneaker – any style
TEEN BALLET & POINTE
For BALLET and POINTE:
- Black leotard (any style)
- Ballet Pink convertible tights (black dance shorts over tights are allowed)
- Pink Ballet shoes
- Black ballet skirt (optional)
- Hair in a bun
- No jewelry
For POINTE:
- Pink Pointe shoes
Note: Warm-up apparel (shirts/sweatshirts) must be solid black and must be removed at the instructor's request.
TEEN JAZZ - (girls) LEVELS 3-5
- Black leotard (any style)
- Black convertible tights/leggings (black dance shorts over tights are allowed)
- Black Slip-On Jazz shoes
- Hair tied back from face (bun, ponytail, or braid)
- No jewelry

Teen LYRICAL JAZZ
For ALL CLASSES (girls):
- Black leotard (any style)

For LYRICAL/CONTEMPORARY:
- Tan Slip-On Jazz Shoes

TEEN TAP - (girls) LEVEL 5
- Black leotard (any style)
- Black convertible tights/leggings (black dance shorts over tights are allowed)

- Black Split-Sole Lace-Up Tap Shoes

BOYS CLASSES
HIP-HOP:
- Black sweatpants and a black t-shirt
- Black Split Sole Dance Sneaker – any style
TAP:

BALLET:
- Black sweatpants and a black t-shirt
- Black Ballet shoes
JAZZ:
- Black sweatpants and a black t-shirt
- Black Split Sole Jazz shoes
- Ages 2-6, wear black ballet shoes for Jazz
